BOWLING.
PAIRS TOURNAMENT. Twenty members of the Palmerston North Bowling Club took part in a pleasant pairs tournament conducted yesterday. The skips’ competition was won by TV. Child after a play-off with Lancaster, each having secured three wins out of four games. Aitken won the leads' competition outright with four wins, Thompson and Sc-hwass being next with three wins each. Sixteen members of the Northern Club participated in an enjoyable pairs tourney held on their green. The skips’ competition was won bv Fenwick and that for the leads by S. Parsons.
