AUCKLAND DAISIES
A BOUNTIFUL SEASON. ALL RECORDS ECLIPSED. AUCKLAND, Dec. 26. So far as production is concerned, Auckland dairy farmers are experiencing a remarkably successful season. Starting off in July, each month has seen the creation of a fresh record in the quantities of butter and cheese graded for export. The returns for November are exceedingly heavy, and show that on a butterfat- basis the Auckland output has increased by about 28 per cent, in comparison with the output for November, 1931. A total of 246,614 cwt. of butter was received into grading store, together with 58,342 cwt. of cheese. _ This represents approximately 25,393,0001 b of butterfat, as against 19,853,0001 b produced in November. 1931. If will be seen from the above that the sonson’s production to date is wellahead of that attained in past seasons. The increase over the five months of last year is approximately 22 per cent.
