FEILDING.
BOWLING TOURNEY. CONCLUDING ROUNDS. The weather which had ls-een fine if rather oppressive for the bowling tournament in Feilding changed yesterday afternoon when, during the progress of the sixth round, rain set in to cause a cessation of play. However, the tourney had progressed well into the final stages and with the greater majority of tiro games finished the difficult playing conditions which prevailed when play was resumed did not bring any untoward advantages to the leaders. At the end of the fifth round the score board- showed Mattar (Foxton), Moore (Feilding), Roach (Croua) and Kershaw (Pahiatua) each with 4 wins and 1 loss. The semi-finals resulted in Moore and Mattar winning and these met in the final this morning on the Feilding green. The details of play yesterday are as under: OR QUA GREEN.
