ASSAULTED IN STREET.
MAN ALLEGES ROBBERY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. Allegations that he had been assaulted and robbed were made by a middle-aged man who was picked up in the street last evening and taken to hospital suffering from head injuries. He said he was struck down, knocked unconscious and robbed by another man. The assault was alleged to have occurred about 9 o’clock.
