TRAMPERS’ HOLIDAY.

PARTY IN UREWERA. ACTIVITIES IN TARARUAS. Trampers are making the most of the splendid holiday conditions at present. Two parties representing the Manawatu Tramping Club are visiting respectively the Lrewera and the Tara, rua Ranges. Messrs A. Fuller, Seymour and Ingles left Palmerston North on Christmas Day to spend a fortnight in the Urewera country. With two others, Mr E. Hill has gone into the Tararuas. Fifty members of the Tararua Tramping Club are in the Kaimanawa Ranges, in the King Country, another party is on the Wanganui River, and other members have gone into various parts of the Tararuas.
