SERIES OF ACCIDENTS.

Injuries to his back were sustained by Mr \V. Manderson, a farmer, of Boundary Road, yesterday afternoon when he fell from a lorry-load of hay. He was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital, where an X-ray examination was made, but the full extent of his injuries is not yet known. The Free Ambulance conveyed him to the city. A girl, Mary Barnett, of Levin, sustained injuries when playing on a gate at her home yesterday afternoon and was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital with a fractured lower arm. Mr Robert Kirkland, a fanner, of No. 4 Line, Kairanga, was admitted to the Hospital shortly before noon today after a collision between his motorcycle and a car in Rangitikei Street. He suffered concussion and abrasions and was attended to by the Free Am. bulance.
