WEEK AHEAD OF TIME.

STEAMER NOT SLOW ENOUGH. In spite of efforts to make the trip from England to Australia on schedule, the steamer Bosworth put into Geelong recently a week ahead of time. After leaving the Tyne ,n ballast to come here for her wheat loading, her master, Captain W. Savage, did everything excepting to stop to retard the ship on her journey. Provision had to be made in the run to meet adverse conditions, but they never arrived. When a head wind was expected off the Australian coast, a following wind sprang up and helped the ship along. From England to Geelong throughout her non-stop run the seas were never more than a ripple.
