CARGO STEAMER SINKS.

CREW RESCUED. KINGSTON (Jamaica), Deo. 26. It was learned to-day that the British freighter Newborough, bound from Vancouver with wheat en route to Hull, sank on Saturday morning in Morant Bay. The entire crew of thirty-five was taken off by the British steamer Norseman.

The Newbrough is a steel vessel of 5340 tons and was built at Sunderland in 1925. She is owned by tho Northumbrian Shipping Company, Newcastle, England. Morant Bay is in the Weet Indies.
