ARRESTED THE WRONG MAN. A new comedy of errors was played under the shadow of Shakespeare’s statue in Leicester Square. London, when two bandits leaped, from a car and grabbed a bag containing £SOO, which Mr William Seymour, manager of a picture theatre, was carrying to the bank. Mr Seymour, despite a blow on the head, grappled with one thief and kicked him in the stomach, forcing him to drop the bag, which was snatched up by Mr who then dashed into Thurston’s billiards hall and (lung the hag behind the counter. Crying, “Watch that, they’re after me,’’ he then turned to confront two men who rushed in, shouting, “You’re arrested.”

They seized Mr Seymour, who fought vigorously, overturning ;i showcase, and the struggle continued amid smashed glass until Mr Seymour discovered that liis assailants' were detectives, who apologised for mistaking the victim for the bandit.
