ENGLISH-MADE SUITS.

IMPORTATION TO FRANCE PROHIBITED. Received December 30, 1.30 p.m. PARIS, Dec. 29. The quota system has been working in a strange fashion during recent weeks. No British-made suits are now allowed to enter France, consequently well-to-do Parisians and Englishmen and Americans living in Paris who alwavs buy their clothes from English tailors are unable to replenish their wardrobes. Apparently the only method is to visit London and return wearing the suits. French and British Chambers of Commerce have taken up the matter, but the French Customs authorities are obdurate.
