BAIL REFUSED.
RENEWED AGITATION FEARED. ' VANCOUVER, Dec. 28. Declaring that times were critical and expressing the belief that accused would renew the agitation, the Chief Justice, Hon. A. M. Morrison, refused to permit bail for Arthur M. Evans, the Workers’ Unity League organiser, who is awaiting trial on a charge of advocating the overthrow of the Government by force.
