MAY PLAY IN 1934.
LARWOOD AND THE TESTS. There is now a definite hope that after his rest for a season, the forthcoming operation on his foot will enable Larwood to make a complete recovery in time for the first Test in 1934, says A. W. Carr, in the Daily Sketch. Carr estimates that Larwood’s absence this season cost Notts £2OOO in gate receipts. He urges that teams supplying Test talent should be allocated a larger share of Test takings.
