“CHAMPION NORTH.”
END OF PRODUCTION
The second and final presentation of the delightful comedy, “Champion North” was given before an appreciative audience at the All Saints’ Parish Hall, last evening. \ At the conclusion of the performance, Rev. D. J. Davies, vicar of St. Peter’s Church, Terrace End, for the organ fund of which tho production wus staged, thanked Canon G. Y. AVoodward for granting the free use of the hall, also Mr W. Coutts for arranging the lighting effects, and Messrs Prentice ; Robotliani and others for assisting with the properties. He expressed appreciation of the assistance rendered by a small committee of ladies led by Mesdames Coutts, Stevens, AValdegrave and Robotham, Mr Davies also paid a tribute to the producer (Mrs S. T. Bristow) and Mr Bristow, the latter having acted as “prompter.” He heartily thanked and congratulated the performers, also Mrs H. Palmer, Mrs AVallacc Cook, Mrs Ivan Cook, Mrs Jessup and Messrs G. Eliott and Christensen for valuable assistance rendered.
