A slight depression is passing in the south and pressure is again falling over south-eastern Australia. Forecast: Strong nortli-west winds, of gale force in places. Weather: Fair to cloudy and mild, hut later some showers. Seas rough. MANAWATU RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—2ft.
