Pereira defeated Oswald to-night in the fifth round, when Oswald, attempting a flying ta.ckle, fell into the orchestral stalls and was unable to continue. Oswald had gained a fall in. the third round with a body press and a figure-four head scissors, while in the fourth Pereira evened with a body press following a series of flying tackles. It was a willing bout.
