RAILWAY TRANSFERS.
Mr A F. Mai, a member of the railway staff at Palmerston. North, has received advice of his transfer to Tliorndon Mr Mai, who has been m Palmerston North about 15 months, leaves for his new position next Tuesday. Mr J. J- Lawson, who has been a member of the. Palmerston North railway station staff for about Tour months, is to: leave, on October 16 on transfer to Otane, Hawke s Bay.
