DAYLIGHT SAVING.

POWER BOARD EXPENSE. All inquiry was made by Mr J. Boyce at the meeting of the Mana-watu-Oroua Power Board to-day as to what expense was incurred in connection with the change over to daylight saving. The chief engineer (Mr W. A. Waters) stated that the resetting of time clocks consequent on the daylight saving involved 3000 miles of travelling twice a 3 T ear. “Arc you not in favour of daylight saving?” inquired Mr M. A. Eliott. “No, I am not,” replied Mr Boyce. “If may bo all right for the cities, but not" for the farmers.”
