AUTHOR’S LOSSES.
IN U.S. FINANCIAL CRASH. It is revealed that Mrs A. M. Williamson, the ivell-known writer, who collaborated with 'her late husband, C. N. Williamson, in many popular novels, and who was found dying the other day, lost more than £30,000 in the America financial crisis, says a London message. She also suffered losses over franc exchange transactions, and the failure of an attempt to sell scenarios in Hollywood broke her spirit. After the death of her husband in 1920 she oekeloped a “spirit self wliicli whispered to her when alono.” She never referred to herself as “I,” but “we.”
