MR COLIN CLIVE.
STAR NEAR DEATH
Received Julv 26, 11.60 a.m. HOLLYWOOD, June 25. Mr Colin Clive, the film actor who has been ill for several days, took a turn lor the worse this morning and is now on the point of death. He has been placed under an oxygen tent in the Cedar of Lebanon Hospital. Physicians hold out little hope. Mr Clive, the British stage and screen actor, was born in 1900 and made his stage debut in 1919. His biggest stage success was Captain Stanhope in the war play, “Journey’s End,” which part he also played on the screen.
