NEW YORK, June 24. Mr Bernard Shaw has cabled the Works -Progress Association’s organisation, from whose theatrical piojects 2818 of the personnel were dismissed by the Federal Government, saying:— ' “Of course the first thing they curtail is American culture. Congress needs drastic lynching. Those who vote for barbarism should perish by it.” ..
