INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
CASE PROVES POSITIVE. With the diagnosis of a case of susI>eeted infantile -aralvsis as positive the number of positive cases in the Palmerston North Hospital lias now readied 24 and a further ease for observation was admitted yesterday. The latter is a Maori girl, aged 18 months, from Shannon, but there is no evident paralysis and the Hospital authorities consider that the case will probably prove negative. The youth aged 20, from Palmerston North, who was admitted earlier in the week, has been proved to be a positive case. AUCKLAND SUSPECT.
Per Press Association. . AUCKLAND. June 25. Another suspected ease of infantile paralysis was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, the patient being a woman of about 24.
