ORAKEI MAORIS.

MOVING RESENTED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 26. The Orakei natives are indignant at the decision of the Acting-Minister of Native Affairs (Hon. F. Langstonc) to shift the Maoris from Orakei. They state this to be contrary to any official view previously expressed and they still rely on the Prime Minister to see that justice is done. Nia Hira, the Chief at Orakei, today traced the development of the problem since 190 S, and referred to emphatic statements by Judge Aeheson, of the Native Land Court, that the land should be given to the Maoris ‘ at Orakei.
