Edward O’Connor was fined £lO for siy-grog selling, at Ashburton, the Magistrate saying that in view of the eases before him in the last few months, he gave a warning that in future offenders would be sent to jail without the option. Several men found on the premises were fined 10s and costs.— Press Association.
