THREE GIRLS MISSING.
SEARCH IN CALIFORNIA. HUNDREDS ENGAGED. Received June 29, 9.40 a.m. NEW YORK, June 28. A message from Inglewood, California, states that hundreds of men and boys have searched the brushy hills of this suburb and Los Angeles for three little girls who have been missing since Saturday, when their parents refused them permission to hunt rabbits with a loiterer. They are: Jeanette Stephens, aged eight; Madeline Everett, _ aged seven, and Melba Everett, aged nine. Boy Scouts, Legionnaires, police, sheriffs, deputies and several G-Men are participating in the hunt.
