POLICE PUGILIST AS ESCORT. A threatening letter, believed to be from a demented man, reached the Australian Prime Minister (Mr Lyons) after the writer had attempted to interview him at his hotel in London. On that occasion the man is alleged to have used threatening language to one of Mr Lyons’s secretaries, and was escorted from the hotel. The case is now in the hands of Mr Lyons’s Scotland Yard escort, who is tlie champion London police welterweight boxer.
