GIFT FOR NURSES’ HOME.
LORD NUFFIELD’S GENEROSITY. Received July 1, 10.35 a.in. LONDON, June 30. Lord Nuffield, tile motor manufacturer and philanthropist, has made a gift of £136,000 to the Birmingham Hospital Centre for a nurses’ home. This brings his total charitable donations to about £8,000,000,
