HEAD-ON COLLISION.

MAN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL. A head-on collision occurred on the Kinibolton Road, near Cheltenham, last evening at 6 o'clock when two sedan cars were badly damaged. Mr A. Shelton, of 33 Glasgow Terrace, Feilding, the driver of one of the vehicles, suffered injuries to both knees and was conveyed to the Palmerston North Hospital. Mr Shelton was proceeding towards Feilding and was almost at "Parcr&.ngr," when his car and another driven by Mr S. S. Viles, of Hayne's Line, Cheltenham, collided. Mr Viles, who had with him his wife and three children, was proceeding home. Both Mr and Mrs Viles suffered injuries and were treated by a doctor. The three children escaped unhurt.
