WELLINGTON STOCK EXCHANGE. YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. Little change was seen yesterday in the Wellington stock ' and share Markets. Prices ivero generally steady at around late rates. Trading was inactive, doalings being confined to - leading industrial and trading issues. There was ft strong demand for Government loans, which were fully firm, but supplies were well held, only one seller quoting. Bank shares remained dull on a slack demand. South British Insurance wore very firm at 97s 3d, sellers advancing to 08s 63. Breweries wore quiet, with Dominion firmer at 46s 3d, sellers 16s, and New Zealand easier at 49s 9d, sellers 60s 6d. Following sales at 84s Sd and 84s 6d, Brokon Ilill Proprietary advanced to 85s, sellers 86s. There was again no inquiry for New Zealand gold mining issues. YESTERDAY'S QUOTATIONS.
