AUSTRALIANS IMPRESS. LONDON, July 24. The Australian women cricketers are playing tile 1934 Englishwomen. The Englishwomen, in their first < innings, made 91, the top scorer being Miss Turner, 18. Bowling. Miss McLarty took six for 21 and Miss Antonio two for 22. The Australian team, in their first innings, lost six for 160 (Miss Antonio 66 not out. Miss Barbara Peden 47). Miss McLarty caused the collapse of the Englishwomen, taking four wickets for nine runs. The crowd applauded her slow leg-breaks and was amazed at the accuracy of the throw-ins ; Miss Antonio gave a great batting display, 'driving and cutting powerfully.
