GROWING LIST.
AUSTRALIAN AVAR PENSIONS. The pensions branch at Australia House, which distributes £300,000 a vear is still making payments to 1600 former soldiers and 7000 dependants. These are resident mainly m Britain, but there are many others in various parts of the world including Spam, Lithuania, China, Russia, Poland, and Cocos Islands. Maltese widows also continue drawing their pensions. The list is growing, although 24 dependants died in 1937 Thirty-one sokL iers incapacitated by “delaved action injuries, were added to the pensions list.
