Last week the Bulls Miniature Rifle Club successfully defended Hie MeKclvio Cup, beating the challengers. Alarton Club, by 42 points. This makes the 17th . consecutive win for Bulls in this competition. For Ilia winners, N. Anion and G. Al. Broughton put on single possibles, and the first rango total reached 547, the avornge being just over 6b per man. Alarton responded with 516, Bulls being 31 up. On tho second range Bulls added 535 to Alarton’s 524. the winners’ totnl of 1082 being a good average shoot. For tho losers, A. Tanffe (137) was the only member to shoot up to form. The Bulls Football Club is strongly represented in tho Rangitikei senior representative side to play Taihapo on Wednesday, no fewer than eight players being selected, as well as one reserve. They are: Backs, Culpan, Williamß, Campbell, Lawrence, and Bending; forwards, Blair, James, and Potnka; Hallnmore is a reserve. James is suffering from a Hand injury, and may not be fit to play. All of the above were members or reserves for the Wanganui representative A and B teams playing Taranaki fifteens on Saturday.
