* EXPERIMENT WITH LION Si DOCTOR’S SUCCESS. ; Received July 26, 9.25 a.m. BELFAST, July 25. Watched by 2000 doctors attending the Medical Congress, Dr. Richard Hunter, of Belfast, entered their cage and took two lions through a part of his training system in an effort to prove that lions can be trained for circus tricks without cruelty. Dr. Hunter, who is a University lecturer and curator of the Belfast Zoo, prescribes kindness and meat. He never uses a whip.
