REVISED PROCEDURE.
RRTTTSH EFFORTS.
Jljlvi non r<r juivio* (British Official Wireless.) Received July 26, 11.55 a.m. RUGBY, July 25. As a result of further talks that Mr R. A. Eden and Lord Plymouth had on Friday and Saturday with the French and German diplomatic representatives, it is now almost certain that the chairman’s non-intervention sub-committee will meet on Monday or Tuesday, when a new method of dealing with the British proposals will be submitted. The revised procedure is likely to take the form of a questionnaire to bo circulated to the Governments covering all the British proposals. It is hoped thus to elicir from the Governments concerned a definite indication of their attitude, and. their replies are requested at a specified and early date.
