THEFT FROM RESIDENCE.

BURGLARY AT WAIPUKURA'J. Per Press Association. y WAIPUKURAU, July 26. During the absence of the occupant of a main street residence for half an hour on Sunday evening, a burglar entered and stole a handbag containing £2O in cash and jewellery. A watch and chain also were taken. Entrance was made through a bedroom window, which was the only one left unfastened.
