DRESS OF THE KING.
ADOPTED FASHION LEADER. Tho King has been adooted by men’s tailors-aiid outfitters as tlieir leader of fashion. Details of every suit or hat or shirt the King wears are being supplied to West End tailors, who immediately bring them to the notice of their customers. Generally speaking, the King is slightly more formal than the Duke oi Windsor. His main preferences are morning suits of grey, except for special occasions, when he wears black. His morning shirts are plain blue or white with double cuffs. His collars are white and starched, and are of the double tvpe, cut away, with a wide inverted ,f V.” His ties are blue and grey or black and white. For country wear, the King prefers Shetland tweeds, with checks, and brightly-coloured check shirts and ties.
