BASQUE INCORRIGIBLES.
FIFTEEN TO BE SENT HOME. Received July 27, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, July 26. Fifteen incorrigibles from the Basque refugee camp at Brechfa and five from Stoneham will be repatriated because they are giving the camps a had name. The fifteen raided and robbed a visiting angler’s car and marched into the village singing “The Red Flag” and brandishing picks and knives stolen from the camp, after the angler had reported them to the police. The children also stoned the windows of a cottage occupied by a man who had chastised one of them for hitting his daughter, making the building uninhabitable.
