NEWCASTLE STRIKE
DEMONSTRATORS DISPERSED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 28, 2.7 p.m. NEWCASTLE, July 28. Three more collieries were idle this morning in sympathy with the stay-in strikers at Burwood pit. Fifteen hundred miners accompanied by women, some with babies in their arms, marched to Burwood and were met by 50 police, wdio dispersed the demonstrators without trouble. During the night about 60 stay-in strikers came to the surface. It is estimated that ICO remain below.
