Mr and Sirs Ronald Abraham, of Te Awe -Awe Street, are visiting Tongariro National Park. The death of Miss J. N. McChie, the original superintendent of the nursing division of the Palmerston North branch of the Red Cross Society, and matron of the Palmerston North Hospital, was feelingly referred to by Mrs It. The ’cello and vocal recital presented in Wellington on Saturday night by Alias Joan Paton and Miss Margaret Feist, of Palmerston North, had an enthusiastic reception and both artists received laudatory Press notices.
