COMMEMORATION BALL.
OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION. Members of the Feilding Agricultural High School Old Pupils’ Association and their friends were in a happy mood last night, when the Old Pupils’ Association annual ball was held in the Drill Hall, Feilding. Pretty frocks and smiling faces were evident, happy laughter mingling with the gaiety of the music. The arrangements were in the hands of the following energetic committee consisting of town and country members: Messrs W. A. Carthew (president), J. B. Thurston (vice-president), N. L. Fitzpatrick (secretary), J. Watts (treasurer), Misses V. Whisker, A. Page, D. Burgess, K. Carthew, D. Bridgeman, I. Mayo, Messrs G. Fitzpatrick, D. S. Hart, S. D. Leiteh, M. B. Barltrop, G. Mitchell and J. Pearce. The supper arrangements, were supervised by the ladies’ committee. Red, white.and blue streamers were used for decorations with charming effect, and at the end of the hall was the F.A.H.S.O.P.A. crest made of red, white and blue clipped paper, the work of Miss A. Page and Miss D. Burgess. The success of the ball was due to a large extent to the untiring efforts of the secretary, who had been engaged for weekß past iu making elaborate arrangements.
