OBITUARY.
MRS MARY A. McGUIGAN. A long period of suffering was terminated yesterday when Mrs Mary A. McGuigan wife of Mr J. McGuigan, of 74 Derby Street, Feilding, passed away. Born at Okarito, on the AA’est Coast of the South Island, deceased was the eldest daughter ot the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Quayle, and spent her school days at Kumara and AVestport. Later 6he went to Australia, where she resided for several years before returning to New Zealand. Her marriage took place in 1914 at Taumarunui, and Mr and Mrs McGuigan came to Feilding, where Mr McGuigan conducted a building business for some years before leaving for Auckland and Australia. In 1924 they came back to Feilding and have resided here ever since. There were no children of the marriage. Mr s McGuigan was a _ prominent member of St. John’s Anglican Church Croquet Club, and was fond of gardening and needlework. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her passing one sister. Miss G. Quayle. of London. Mrs McGuigan was of a kindly disposition and was well-known in Feilding. The sympathy of many friends has been extended to Mr McGuigan.
