A FATAL FALL.

CHRISTCHURCH ACCIDENT. Pei Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 28.. Falling from a plank and severely injuring his head, Wilfred Harold Vent, who was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital last evening, died shortly before 10 o’clock. Mr Went was a married man aged 43 years. He .was employed by a contracting firm in cleaning the ceilings of premises in Colombo Street and fell from a plank on which he was working. He struck his head on a glass showcase and landed heavily on the floor.
