MEXICAN EARTHQUAKE.

MANY DEAD AND INJURED. HALF TOWN SHATTERED. MEXICO CITY, July 26. A terrible toll , of death and destruction followed an earthquake in the Vera Cruz and Puebla areas. Thousands remained out of doors during the night weeping and praying. Forty bodies have been recovered. Many were injured and taken to hospital. Half the buildings were shattered in the town of Maltrata, where 16 are dead and 70 injured.
