CITY BAND DANCE.
The weekly dance held by the QH.V Band drew the usual large attendance. Lucky dances were won ns f .allow : —Gay Gordons, Mr Nayior and Miss Morgan; Monte Carlo, Miss Wolfshauer and Mr Barrett; lucky door ticket. Miss Marshall; novelty, Mr ,T. Smith. An extra was played l, v Mr A. Ganderton on his pianoaccordeon. Mr Whitehead earned cut the duties of M.C.
To rcslore Morocco leather to its former good condition, take equal parts of vinegar and linseed nil. Shake well and apply with a soft cloth. Then polish with another dry doth.
