PAIIIATUA, July 23. The Mayor (Mr J. 1). Wilson) presided over a public meeting held to re-appoint a eonimiitoe to control the affairs of the Carnival Park, Pahiatua. Heckler was appointed to purchase flowers, shrubs, and trees, the expenditure being limited to £2O. Mr W. J. Henderson was in the chair at a meetii. goi tilt executive of the Bush Rugby Union last evening. The Wairarapa Union advised that the data of tne return senior match against Bush would be decided at their meeting on August 5.
