SAVINGS FOR RAIL TRIPS

As a further inducement io the public to save up for railway trips, the General Manager of Railways (Mr G. H. Mackley) announces a decision to grant, interest at 5 per cent, on vouc'fis to the value of 10s or multiples of if s.. These vouchers may be obtained in exchange for travel stamps issued at railway stations, or may be bought for cash. Interest accrues from the dale of issue of the voucher, but does not continue after the expiration of twelve months if the vouchor is not used for the purchase of a railway ticket within that period.
