DUNEDIN RABBITSKIN SALE
Largo' catalogues wore again submitted to a full bench of buyers at the Dunedin rabbitskin sale on July 22. Competition was keen for all grades and prices showed a. rise all round. Low-grade skins were from par to Id per lb advance, while autumn and incomings advanced by 2d to fid per lb. The demand was especially keen for all grades of winter docs, which advanced from 6d to 14d per lb. Winter bucks can bo quoted at par with last sale. The following is the range of prices:Small, 23d; runners, 30d; milky, 29d to 44jd; summer bucks, 33d: summer docs, 29Jd; light racks, 45id; prime racks, 45id; dawny autumns, 4Bs; first early autumns, 66d; second early autumns. 48d; .second late autumns, 80id; first late autumns, 89d; first incomings, 99d; second incomings, second early winter bucks. 127 d; second early winter does, 35d; first early winter bucks, 133 d; first early winter does. Gsid; spotty bucks, 124 d: spotty does, 86d; second winter bucks, 139 d; second winter dees, 95id; first winter bucks, 156 d; first winter does, 105 d; prime bucks, 160 d; prune does. lOod; outgoing bucks, llld: outgoing docs. 6od; first spring bucks, 763 d; second spring bucks, 45d; ~ spring does, 55d; summer blacks, 24d; autumn black, 69d: outgoing and spring black, 60d; win!or b.ack. lOCd: winter fawn, 96d; autumn fawn, 71d; slimmer fawn, 36d; hareskins, 30d to 52jd; hair, to 20^.
