OUTPUT OF COAL.
BIG BRITISH INCREASE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 27. A remarkable increase has taken place in the output of British coal mines. The figures have increased from 208,000,000 tons in 1933, to 228,000,000 tons in 1936, while the figure for the first six months of the present year is 121,000,000 tons. The Home consumption has more than compensated for the fall in exports and now exceeds the record year of 1913.
