SOUTH AFRICAN VETERANS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 29. The following officers were elected at the annual conference of the New Zealand South African Veterans’ Association: President, Mr Ben Ellis (Dunedin); vice-presidents, Mr J. V. Scott (Gisborne), Major H. M. Richardson (’Blenheim), Mr G. N. Cressvell (Chustchurcli), Major P. E. de Brandon (Wellington), Messrs R. N. Todd (Invercargill) A. E. Bertram (Auckland), H. W. Watt (Tauranga), T. McWhirtcr (Taranaki); committee. Captain J. J. Clark, Messrs R. H. Aldrich, 11. Anderson (Wellington), A. J. Harper, A. G. Johnstone (Hutt Valley) and E. Hogg (Levin); honorarv auditor, Mr J. L. Arcus; honorary solicitor, Hon. W. Perry ; Dominion treasurer, Captain C. F. Bishop; representative on the headquarters of the lie-establishment League. Captain J. J. Clark; representatives on the N.Z. R.S.A., Messrs J. I. Goldsmith and J. Cowdrey; secretary. Mr H. J. E. Tilling. It was agreed that the next annual conference, °to be held in Christchurch, should be held during the second week of July next year.
