EULOGY’S DESCENDANTS.
COURTCRAFT AND RELATIVES. The family founded by Eulogy has been in tho limelight for so many years that particular interest is taken in young members who are being prepared for racing. Several have been mentioned from different quarters in tho last few days and all comments are in a very optimistic vein (says an exchange). In the forefront of the discussions on coming three-year-olds, both in Australia and Now Zealand, is the Limond —Homage colt Courtcraft. He has given sufficient proof in his brief career this season that first impressions of him were well founded. Ho is tho chief hope of the Dominion for tho Australian olassics and an early fancy for the spring handicaps. Tho Posterity—Episode filly Heiress is ono of G. Price’s pupils at Randwick. She has not raced, but she is ready to begin as a three-ycar-old .under favourable auspices. She Is a sister to Entail and Kinsfolk and her dam is' a sister to Courtcraft. Her year younger half-rolative, by Pombnl, is showing speed in short sprints at Awapuni. Peerless is the' name under which the brown daughter of Beau Pore and Prestige will race. She is under the care of T. R. Gc<srgc at Trentham and is described as the likeliest filly seen at tho centre , for years. She cost Mr R. J. Murphy, Wellington, 425 guineas in January. Prestige is another sister to Courtcraft.
