TASMAN AIR MAIL
MODE OF CONTROL. COMPANY TO BE FORMED. ALLOCATION OF EXPENSES. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 30, 11.0 a.m. SYDNEY, July 30. The Minister of Defence, Sir Archdale Parkhill, announced to-day that it has been agreed by the Governments of Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom that the trans-Tas-man air mail service should be controlled by a new joint company in which each Government will he represented by three directors. Australia is to bear 23 per cent, of the payments to the company, the United Kingdom 38 per cent, and New Zealand 39 per cent., subject to review every three years. The new company. will be granted mail contracts.
